This is our little guy. They are the yummiest little things. Mine is a red merle with blue eyes. She's amazingly athletic at the age of 7. It's such a pleasure to watch her run and jump!
They will eat what they can because they do not have the ability to hunt their own food.My dogs eat carrots, broccoli, and even salad in fact instead of those crappy and expensive dog treats I toss my dogs baby carrots for treats and they love them.
If they were pure carnivores they would not eat those things
They have the ability,They will eat what they can because they do not have the ability to hunt their own food.
Opinions and truth are two different things. You posted your opinion. What I disagreed with was you calling it crap. My first thought was you don’t get out much…This isn’t the 1970s anymore. It depends on the brand but some plant-based alternatives are amazing. My former roommate who is non-vegan and a huge meat eater actually said that the Beyond burger tastes BETTER than a regular cow burger. (And it’s better in a number of ways, one of those ways being you’re not paying for horrible cruelty.) So yeah, to me you using the word crap deserved a down vote.buttercup Disagree all you want, but what I posted was the truth. Undeniable truth.,

I eat plenty of beef, pork and chicken and I do not pay for cruelty. That's bullshit.
I know the farmers I buy from, have toured their farms and witnessed how they treat their animals and how they kill them humanely. If I can't see that meat was raised humanely and killed humanely, I don't buy it. That cruelty bullshit is for people who don't know better, not that I expected better from you.
I wasn’t talking about you, first of all. Second of all, something like 99% of meat comes from factory farms. And on factory farms it is undeniable that there is horrible cruelty, suffering and unnatural disgusting conditions.
Thirdly, and this is where we’re going to definitely disagree… Even IF a small farmer treats his animals in a nicer way than they’re treated on factory farms… killing a sentient being who doesn’t want to die in and of itself is cruel. In other words, it’s not just the conditions and what happens in their lives before they are slaughtered, but the actual slaughter itself that is cruel. In fact, some might say it’s even more cruel when a small farmer does it, because the animals TRUST them, and sometimes even bonds are formed, and then what does the farmer do with that trust? He betrays it by slitting their throat or paying someone else to slaughter them for a hamburger. When you can buy a hamburger that tastes just as good and is healthier, without the cruelty.
The sad reality is that whether it’s small farms or big farms (and again, most meat comes from factory farms) any time an animal is considered a commodity, there’s cruelty involved. It’s inherent in meat production.

No, it tastes better to YOU. I have tried them and they suck to ME. Enjoy them all you wish, just don't try and force them on me.
Paid by the word?
That’s your response? Lame, very lame. I came to my view on my own, upon seeing the ugly reality, and realizing that I was paying for that suffering, terror and evil stuff that goes on every day. And then realizing that if I didn’t align my actions with my values I would be a huge hypocrite. That’s it. Now care to address anything I said in my previous post?

I guess you are paid by the word.
I imagine you are like every vegan I've ever met, who has at least one pair of leather shoes or a leather bag in your closet. The cute little tap dance they do when you bust them wearing leather is hilarious! Hypocrisy all across the board.
When did I ever force anything on you? Me stating my view just as you stating your view is not forcing.
I do have to say though that you are basically saying your tastebuds (and as I said to the other guy, this isn’t the 1970s anymore, so I question what you tried and when) are more important than the life of an innocent animal who is no different than your dog or cat in all the ways that matter. I don’t think people should be ruled by their tastebuds, but obviously I’m not going to convince you as you appear to be one of the worst anti-vegans on this site, and that’s saying a lot.
I don’t wear leather anymore. And no, for the second time, I came to my view on my own, it is my sincere view, and the fact that you keep claiming that I’m paid reflects poorly on you. Still don’t want to address what I said in my earlier post? Because it’s starting to look a lot like deflection.
