I went to a Mosque to see if they could translate some Mahdi sword inscriptions.

At first I was eyed with suspicion then they warmed to the idea quickly when they saw the swords, I had five of them.

Man, they were all over them and calling friends of that particular persuasion trying to translate them.

Most had "God is good" type of sayings on them but one said "slaughter the British and rape their wives and virgin daughters".....I kept that one.

The amount of faith and passionate devotion for political "leaders" and partisan politics borders on idolatry, for sure. I was just thinking about that today and I was even thinking about starting a thread on it. From a biblical perspective, it reminds me of the mistake that the Israelites made in 1 Samuel 8, when the Israelites wanted a human king, like all the other countries, instead of God. Which just goes to show, like the bible says, "there's nothing new under the sun."

You are correct. Islam hates the west. To understand why, islam has to be understood as the complete way of life that it is. Islam is not a religion. It is everything. It is the political, social, religious and educational pattern of life.

In islam the world is divided into three parts, Dar al Sulh, House of Treaty, which means the territories that Islam allows to surivive. Dar al Islam, the House of Islam which is the only house to know peace and Dar Al Harb, the House of War. The non Islamic world. Our world.

There is no such thing in Islam as conversion. It is not possible to convert to islam from another religion. The reason is, Allah is the One True God. We are all born into islam. We are muslim by birth. To believe in another religion is to be a traitor (political stand) and heretic (religious stand). Since we are muslim by birth, we can only revert to islam when we reject another religion and become muslim.
These are the reasons islam hates us and will be at war with us continually, in many forms.
