I always ask if he needs me to stop at the grocery store before visiting. While he usually says no, he did want some grapes yesterday.

I recently had a mailbox installed because he’s nearing a point where he won’t be able to drive to the post office. Something he liked doing because it’s a small town and he likes the people working there.
When he was hospitalized about a year ago, the ladies at the post office called the cops because they hadn’t seen him. lol

I visited him again today to install a mailbox alert device I ordered. It’ll help him from taking unnecessary trips to check the box.
