Well, what do you think?
One thing is for sure it was either one of two things. Extreme negligence, like almost mental retardation on the part of the IDF. Or the Israeli government allowed it to happen…. Whether at the highest chain of command or perhaps from rogue officials.
But we can just look at the basic facts here. The distance between Gaza and the Israeli border is a matter of miles. No, we’re not talking about thousands even hundreds of miles. Yet Israel is capable of assassinating political opponents 1400 miles away in Iran and targeted precision strikes Utilizing Intel capabilities. So therefore it’s hard to imagine that all of a sudden the IDF became mentally retarded on Oct 7.
If somebody is going to sit here and claim that Hamas was able to break into Israel and stay there for six hours without a military response from the IDF….well
A reasonable person will ask how in the most monitored border of the world that The October 7 attack was possible. Interesting that a few months ago I had an IDF soldier, a conservative Israeli Jew who supports Netanyahu saying he thought that “the cameras were turned off” on October 7. He also couldn’t believe the slow response of the IDF military on Oct 7. As the IDF has attack helicopters and other military capabilities that could’ve made it to the border area in a matter of minutes.
One may ask why would Israeli government officials allow October 7 to happen? Well, you could have a number of answers for that. Far right wing Jewish supremacist in Israel could have seen something like the Abraham accords brokered by Donald Trump that brought together more Muslim countries and Israel as being something that would perhaps bring about a two state solution. Well, they don’t want that. And it’s also reasonable to come to the conclusion that October 7 could be a justification for an ethnic cleansing of Gaza. I mean after all how many times no matter how bad civilian death in Gaza do you hear the IDF bring up October 7.
