your first tv, your first radio, your first friend your first day in school, just your first in general?

I remember my parents bringing home our first microwave oven.
The thing was a BEAST and took up the entire counter.

I also remember our first VCR. Again, big and bulky but WOW technology was great. Of course this lead to a first visit to rent a movie from a video store! Oooooh weeeee ... the excitement was too much to handle back then.

I enjoy telling my children stories like this, when comparing technology of today.
