A near neighbour near the end of her life and though divorced from Larry still spent time down here, two hundred yards from my home at the sea side .
Mad as a hatter and an alcoholic in her last few years and often to be seen alone walking up and down the sea front .
Never saw her really close up and I was very young .
But photogenically a truly beautiful woman .
