When I first started to become a fan in sports, baseball was the best in the 1960's. Sandy Koufax was one of the best. Also, Ken Holtzman was a dependable pitcher who played for a few teams and was dependable over a number of years throughout the 1970's or so. Koufax was one of the last pitchers in a book I had called Great Baseball Pitchers at that time in the 1960's.
