I heard so much music similar to this when I lived in Germany that I got used to it. I happen to think these two women are singing a Swiss song but please if you know, tell us what kind it is. Swiss and German are so similar. Do you enjoy music where the language is from non English speaking countries?

When I lived in Germany why there and what did I do there?
I served in the US Army as the company clerk of a Battalion HQ. We ran the Battalion in other words that had around 2300 troops. I customized my 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk to repair an accident had by the previous owner. I earned a small Army income. I parlayed my income to a large income by lending to soldiers money they used for fun. I had money to travel all over West Germany. I lived in Berlin Germany for a month. I also owned a Mercedes Benz 4 dr sedan.

I was stationed in Heilbronn, about 42 clicks Northeast of Stutgart, FRG.

I'll take the blonde....you can take the brunette.

If the music is good, language does not matter. I have a taste for latin music that probably started with Sergio Mendez and the Brazil 66. Several or their songs are in Portuguese. On the other hand, what some people like still sound horrible in any language, in my opinion. While bouncing around Europe, in my active duty days, I attended a German Opera. Once was enough. I dispise German Opera.

I have been to Stuttgart two times. First time to the race track close to Stuttgart. Called the Solitude ring. Last time my girlfriend flew to meet me at Schweinfurt from Berlin and I drove her to see Stuttgart. I love both of these singers so would love to take the brunet.

With those two girls, Weinie Weinie is fitting.

When I lived in Germany I did go to the Berlin Philharmonic for a fine evening listening to Handel music with my girlfriend. it was her idea. We had dinner at the Berlin Hilton which was my idea.

I have been to several symphonies, but that was my first and only opera, German or otherwise. I was at the Jackson Symphony, last Saturday night. I have heard some do not like German Opera, so, I guess, I am among them. Mom liked classic symphony, and we went, when opportunity presented, but, she had no opera records around the house, and I do not remember opera being a recurring thing in Paducah, Ky. Dad like both kinds of music, popular in west Tennessee, "country" and "western". ;)

Music can be beautiful, exciting, peaceful and more. Sounds like you experienced much of that.

I usually like to understand the lyrics, but I agree about Latin music. I totally enjoy a well sung Spanish Love song.

I have to know what it is that is being said. I am not going to listen to something that could be constant swearing and vulgarity in a different language for example.

God bless you always!!!

Spanish guitar can be fantastic. Since retirement, and having time for YouTube, I have been getting into more Latin rhythms, such as Poncho Sanchez, but that is more instrumental, of course.

Gabriele Susanne Kerner was a looker too. ;)

Beat me to it.

I was in Germany in 1982 to 1984. That song played over and over on AFN Radio. We heard that it was vaguely anti-American military, but being privates anyway, we loved it.

More recently, I heard the song "San Lucas." and I thought it was very good.
