Do "free" clinics fit in with the GOP Health Care plan for America?

The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) will be holding a one day free medical clinic on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for those in the area who have no or limited access to health care.

The NOLA C.A.R.E. (Communities Are Responding Everyday) Clinic will offer free basic medical care and health education to the area's medically underserved. Being a volunteer at this event will give you the opportunity to help hundreds of people gain access to medical care they otherwise may not receive.



I'm worried that Republicans will try to get free clinics "banned" as Socialism and anti Capitalism.

we have them out here every year Dean.....help paid for by a few.....gasp!.....Conservative Organizations....my Dentist who is pretty Conservative goes and donates 2-3 days there....yea i know its hard to believe.....

The vast majority are either privately funded or run by the state or county

Doctors and nurses who give their time to free clinics should be commended. Their political leanings don't matter.
