Trump owns more than $1 million in crypto and made $300K on branded Bibles, financial disclosure shows
The branded Bible, listed in the disclosure as “The Greenwood Bible,” sells for $59.99 and includes a handwritten chorus to the song “God Bless the U.S.A.” by country singer Lee Greenwood, according to the branded Bible’s website. A limited edition copy that is said to bear Trump’s signature is also available on the website for $1,000.
Trump also has more than $1 million in cryptocurrency, the new documents show. His disclosure included details about a cryptocurrency wallet and “virtual ethereum key” holdings that he valued at $1 million to $5 million.
Trump’s public positions on crypto have shifted since he first took office, when he said the digital currency was a scam.
He has since embraced a hands-off approach from the government, with his campaign touting that he’s building a “crypto army.”
The shift came after lobbying from the industry — and signs that fostering the growth of crypto was popular among a segment of Trump’s base, particularly young men who spend time online.

But just a few years ago, when Trump was in the White House, he made his thoughts on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies clear.
“I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air,” he said in a series of social media posts in 2019 while he was still in office. “Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity.”
“We have only one real currency in the USA,” Trump continued, “And it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!”

Once a “not a fan” of cryptocurrency, Trump has reversed course and is poised reap a $100 million windfall from an embattled industry looking for friends in Washington.

It appears that it's fine to promote a relatively new form of currency allowing for "unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity” if it will get you some votes. The intrinsic value of cryptocurrency has remained the same over the years since the former Grifter-in-Chief said its value was based on thin air. But now he sees them as a means to garner votes so it's all good. Besides, if you own a $1M worth and you can use your platform to increase the value of your investment......heck.......that's America baby.
Cuz the presidency offers all sorts of opportunities. For Individual 1 those include getting richer, staying out of jail, and exacting revenge on people you don't like. Just like the Founders envisioned when they cobbled a country together with blood, courage, and intellect.
