Gotta disagree. Those who watched followed that racket from winning point into the kid’s hand so there would be no question as to validity.
Novak has given away rackets after winning in the past, but they were ones he pulled out a bag containing 5 or more others.
He’s a good guy. Met him standing in line for a beer at sports bar near Boise State several years ago after a benefit. Couldn’t have been nicer.
