Guys, Mash called this back in the dark days when the DJIA was 40,600 and falling. Leftwingers were crowing with glee. I said I would be back when my prediction came true, and here I am.

I believe that was a good call.

However; labor day is considered the "end" of summer.
So technically, you missed your prediction by a few days.

I point this out just to give you a hard time.

I am probably saving you the money it would cost to enlarge all your doorways at the top because your head got so big.
So you should thank me.

Surely he meant by 9/21/25 @ midnight....

Right wing loons provide their own brand of comedy.

Sorry to rain on your parade Nostradamus, but the summer solstice was June 21 and the DOW was at 42,000. You predicted that it would be up to 46,000 "by summer". You predicted wrong.

Nope. “ By summer” means before the end of the summer. I’ve already been over this with other leftwing nabobs.

Mashie doing a victory dance. I win like Trump.

Saying something will happen "by summer" or "by the summer" means it should be completed before the end of the summer season.

Mashie loves winning.

We used to use the line "break out the Vaseline and the crowbars, we gotta get (Insertname's) ego through the door."

Still a lot closer than your side's screams of doom and gloom and catastrophe.

"Ethel, how is this son of a *****, Mashmont, right all the time?"

I think the stock prices are partially buoyed by inflation expectations. Fixed income yields are crashing, so where else are investors going to put their money?

Check your reading comprehension skills. You are making up new meanings for words to avoid admitting that you were wrong.

If you have to be to work by 6:00 AM and you show up at 6:59 AM, you are late to work. You can't reasonably conclude that since it isn't 7:00 AM yet, you are still on time.

That's pure unmitigated moonbat logic. You have outed yourself as a closet Democrat.

Your example Is not applicable.

Here's a more accurate one: If you have to have a library book returned by Friday, when is it due? Closing time on Friday, of course. Dispute that.

It's due by closing time on Friday, not by Friday. In common parlance you would say the book is due on Friday, not by Friday.

When I predicted that my corn would be knee high by July, and it wasn't knee high by July 1st, my prediction was proven wrong. Knee high by July wouldn't even be something to brag about if it meant by the end of July.

So by your interpretation, if a book is due by Friday, what time and day is it due? This is a checkmate question. No matter how you respond, you lose the debate.

I love doing this to liberals.

Reminds me of the inverse of Trump’s promise to end the war on day one. “Of course I meant it would be September....duh!"

How many times did you flunk English? You need to check your reading comprehension skills.
