But for sure many on this board vote Democrat. Far too many Americans voted for Democrats. And far too few Americans seem to know about or they refuse to acknowledge the often illegal, dangerous, harmful incompetence that has been the current administration.

At best the current policies have created a stagnant economy with falling personal wealth, more and more erosion of our liberties, more weaponization of government.

At worst current policies could take us into deep recession, even depression, so weaken us that WWIII or nuclear war is far more likely, set back opportunity for Americans by decades or centuries.

But again they made sure we wouldn't be able to prove it. And now we are stuck with the most incompetent, dangerous, effective only in the most destructive policy administration I have ever seen. I thought Obama was bad and it couldn't get any worse than it was under Carter.

DEI is built to put the Peter Principle into play as the rule, rather than the exception.

That's pretty much always the case. And even if somebody competent is appointed or hired via DEI, that person will always be seen as the 'affirmative action' person or one who got their job not based on merit but on DEI policies.

One of my best friends was a bright, articulate, super competent and successful woman who happened to be black. She told me she has been discriminated against for being female far more than for being black but as all successful professional women do, she got around that by proving her worth. But she said it always hurt when people assumed she got her job or raise or promotion due to affirmative action instead of merit. Fortunately only a very few ever signaled that.

And in my opinion when people unready or unfit for a job are appointed purely because they are female or black or gay or transgender or whatever to achieve 'diversity', and then demonstrate how wrong they were for the job, it can trigger inadvertent negative feelings that do nothing to encourage 'diversity' in mainstream society.

Diversity in the work force or organization should include people with different opinions, different points of view, different skill sets, different experience, etc.

It should have nothing to do with gender, sexual orientation, skin color, or whether a person transgenders.
