University of Michigan economics professor Mark J. Perry is working with numerous folks across the nation to file equal-opportunity complaints with the federal Department of Education when colleges and universities discriminate on the basis of race and sex.
Perry recounts that in three years of research, he’s found more than 1,200 Title IX and Title VI violations — and continues to uncover more. “The significant and troubling frequency of violations of federal civil rights laws in higher education demonstrates unaddressed systemic sexism and racism that needs greater awareness, exposure and legal challenges,” he writes.
“Typical and frequent” Title IX violations “that have gone unchallenged for many decades,” he says, include “female-only scholarships, fellowships, awards, study spaces, mentoring, tutoring, special freshman orientations, industry meetings, summer STEM programs, summer STEM camps, coding clubs, leadership programs, entrepreneurship programs, gym hours, etc. that operate exclusively for women while illegally excluding and discriminating against boys and men.”

Comment:
The open minded and tolerant Progressives do not accept that everyone has the same civil rights in education.
Race and Gender based programs in education are discriminatory.

Pity the poor white Christian Male.

What a terrible life he leads.

You mean like Hunter Biden?
No, my child, like you,

Not able to go to church
not able to find a job
Having to work with those disgusting "coloreds"
Having to endure a same sex marriage 1500 miles away

Yes, my Tiny Minded Whitey we have terrific empathy for your demise.

I see you filled up with bull shit before you spewed out all that pathetic tripe.

I think you're a quart low again now, Skippy.

That's the trouble with the Tiny Minded.

Offer them sympathy for their situation and they crap all over themselves.

Still, we do feel for your not being able to rape women, kill Blacks, and keep those undesirables out of your colleges and universities.

White man sad.

There is clear and definitive proof that Asian Americans are discriminated against when it comes to Ivy League university admission. This is done to make room for less qualified candidates, so Ivy League schools have found a solution that. They are ending the requirement that students do well on tests like ACT or SAT:

"This same sort of discrimination has happened before, when many Ivy League universities imposed quota systems that restricted Jewish students. These policies have universally been acknowledged as discriminatory by conservatives and liberals alike."

"But when it comes to Asian Americans, this same discrimination is somehow considered okay. These unfair admissions practices are in fact one of the central means of discrimination against Asian Americans. Eliminating standardized testing requirements will only make this discrimination worse
."

Very sad indeed.

Nothing close to the discrimination Asians face when they graduate top of the class in major universities and enter the corporate world.

They excel at entry level positions but are blocked from reaching executive levels

So you admit that Asian Americans are discriminated against regarding university admissions???

Remember that the topic of this thread is discrimination in EDUCATION.

I am saying that Corporate America discriminates more than Universities

Universities accept tens of thousands of Asians

No Fortune 500 companies have Asians as CEOs

The topic is EDUCATION. So it is clear from what you wrote that Asian Americans are discriminated against in education. Your only argument is to say that they are also discriminated in the workforce.

A simple "yes" would have sufficed.

The issue is discrimination

Why are you outraged about discrimination against Asians at Universities but not once they graduate?
