We do not know whether that mishap was due to that gentleman or that lady.

I have read that before airplanes, there were lots of horrible passenger train accidents, which killed scores of people. In those days, all the executives were Caucasian males.

Besides, some DEI hires are strictly for photo ops. They do not actually make any decisions. For example, some members of the president's cabinet are figureheads. The real decisions are made by bureaucrats.
