Look around. You don't notice the difference between now and a few months ago?

I do. Our local Walmart and Goodwill store was full of the little brown border-jumpers back around February and March. They seem to have either disappeared or gone into hiding.

besides incentive all their major cities are on the northern border which gets cold in the winter, I know I lived near the border so why would anybody from india want to do that exactly?

I actually know of a somebody from indian decent who is an actual ice trucker in north canada, he's basically the only brown person around and the local don't really like him but he won't move, he just puts up with it

There is an incentive to self deporting. If you do so, you don't go on the banned list and you can apply for legal immigration right away.

While I'm sure some people have self-deported, the vast majority know how to hide from the authorities and will continue to do so.

Just like they will figure out new ways to sneak across the border now that they can't claim asylum anymore.

If they could apply for legal immigration the right way, they wouldn't have snuck across to start with.

The problem is, Trump is going after people who DID it the right way, like the father of five who was nabbed during his final interview because of a supposed paperwork discrepancy no one ever brought up before.

Or the people who used the App and applied for Asylum, who have been given letters to tell them to leave now.

This is a problem long in the making, and the solution may cause some short term pain, but give us long term benefit.

We need to control who we let into our country, plain and simple.

It goes back to the "Last Amnesty evah" cycles from the previous decades.

And we need to amend the Constitution to end birthright citizenship.

More and more reason for a Constitutional Convention.
