CHICAGO — Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, the No. 2 Senate Democrat and his party’s top leader on the Judiciary Committee, announced Wednesday that he won't seek a sixth term in 2026.

When asked why, he confided with the reporter, "I've done a terrible thing.......no......no..........who am I kidding? I've done the unforgiveable!!!", as Dick began to sob bitterly. "I've voted with Republicans to advance a GOP-crafted stopgap spending bill, there is no going back!!"

Since the time he voted with fascists, Senator Durbin's Tesla was burned along with swastikas painted all over his house by demonstrators. "Just let me say, I deserve all this, just don't hurt my wife and dog!!"

But his plea probably should have been made sooner as we have just now learned that demonstrators broke into his home, painted his dog orange, and tattooed the picture of a burning Tesla on the forehead of his wife.
