Our city is a disaster and it's been run by Democrats for decades. Yet a Republican here doesn't stand a chance at being Mayor or even a Council person.

Many people who vote Democrat are completely politically ignorant. They vote Democrat because it sounds like democracy, and democracy is a good thing, right? They were told the Republicans are a party of rich white people.
