The ADA doesn't give a sht what they do, just as long as everyone pays their money.
You go to the dentist to fix a cavity.
While your mouth is numb they hit the other teeth around it with the drill.
Within 2 to 4 years your other teeth will start to develop cavities.
If you dentist doesn't want to do fillings and goes straight to root canals and crowns, he's a total crook.
Instead of drilling out the small cavity, they hollow out the whole tooth. (leave a small spot of cavity)
When that falls apart they want to do the root canal and crown.
When that falls apart they want to saw off your other good teeth and make a bridge.
When that falls apart they want to drill into your jaw and make an implant.
When that falls apart they've ruined your whole jaw.
They tell you your teeth are falling part because you drink other things other than water, knowing damn well you ain 't going to drink water all day.
The worst fkn thing you can do is go to a dentist every 6 months.
They have a life plan for you and they get you started early.
If they tell you some sht about "hairline cracks" you need to get up and walk out
