The Democrat solution to a surge in auto thefts (by you-know-who) was to SUE THE MAKERS for not making their car more theft-proof.

Will they start to sue butchers and grocery markets for not putting steaks in glass cases?

If your party acts to excuse evil-doers, what does that say about the party?

So nobody was arrested for car thefts?

Auto theft is not a design flaw. It is a crime. Yet, across blue states, Democratic attorneys general have decided that the real villains behind a recent surge in car thefts are not the people actually stealing vehicles, but instead the companies that made them.

The dem mind is a terrible thing. They ain't wired right.

I love teaching you righties some stuff - thats why i do it for free. Look. The Washington Examiner thinks you are stupid. I dont. Read my note and explain what you think now.

1. Car theft has fallen dramatically (see graph)
2. The law suit was because the auto manufactures left out standard anti-theft options that had their cars stolen way more than industry standard with common tools
3. Look at the map of the 35 state coalition and you'll see blue and red states in it. (Linked below)

Here is the detailed summary: A coalition of 35 state attorneys general (plus D.C.) sued or negotiated with Hyundai and Kia because millions of vehicles sold in the U.S. lacked industry-standard anti-theft technology. Specifically:
  • Many models from 2011–2022 did not include an engine immobilizer — a common security feature that prevents a car from being started without the correct key.
  • Without this feature, thieves developed quick, simple methods (often demonstrated on social media) to start and steal these vehicles with everyday tools.
  • The result was a major spike in thefts nationwide, with some cars being used in other crimes and crashes.

It still sounds like you are defending criminals and their crimes.
Typical for Left wingnut DimbocRATs.
You're "teaching" the wrong "stuff".

From the car theft link;
"While that sounds like a lot, the bureau said the number of vehicle thefts fell 18.6% from 2023. Despite sounding like good news, the FBI noted that thefts are 8.9% higher than 2020 estimates and 24.3% higher than estimates in 2015. "
Note also these figures are "estimates". :rolleyes:
