Democrats like Pelosi have decided since they do not want the midterms to be a referendum on them, their failed policies, and agendas decided to focus on 1 key issue that would save them from the expected Red Wave -- Abortion.

Bad news for Democrats -- new pling shows 2/3rds of women reject the Democrat Party's platform on abortion.

Democrats are not helping themselves in debates either. If Democrats decideseAbortion is going to be their key issue to focus on you would think they would be prepared to talk about it and answer questions a out what they believe and why... Yeah, not so much.

During her debate with Zelden, D-Hochul could not bame 1 Abortion restriction she agreed with, seeminy mirroring the Democrats' call for a ortion any time up to the time of delivery.

The decision to go all out on the subject will hurt. Most people or at least a majority does want the procedure to be legal but they want restrictions also.

The "funniest" part of the Left's current position on Abortion is that they don't even understand what they are saying!

Last night's "debate" in Pennsylvania featured John Fetterman repeatedly affirming his support for a re-institution of the Roe v Wade rules. THis is similar to what other Democrat candidates around the country are doing in states that are competitive. (Parenthetically, Oz supported the USSC in saying that it's none of Congress' business, and must be left to the States).

But Roe v Wade was effectively overruled in 1992 by Planned Parenthood v Casey, which greatly expanded abortion rights as the Court saw it.

Under RvW, the national "right" to get an abortion was limited to THE FIRST TRIMESTER of pregnancy. During the second trimester, the States could regulate, or even prohibit abortion, and during the third trimester - when the baby is arguably "viable" - it would take a very serious medical threat to the mother to justify abortion. In effect, in the third trimester, the baby's right to life trumped (love using that word) the mother's "right" to abort it.

Would Fetterman have any idea of this structure? Other Democrat candidates? The voters? I doubt it.

This is not true. During the second trimester a state could regulate where an abortion could be performed. Period.

Democrats don't understand abortion? When asked, they couldn't even tell you what a woman is, and they think biological males can give birth.

Abortion is a big issue but people right now are upset by inflation which is making everything from gas to food more expensive.

Your opinion on a woman’s healthcare is irrelevant because your level of ignorance knows no bounds.

Late term abortions are the NECESSARY abortions. The ones no one ever wanted. The ones where the woman or the baby will die, or in the case of the fetus, it already has.
