Yet the Trump-cultists didn't scream hatred at the Republicans at that time. But then, nobody expects a Trump cultist to remember what happened even yesterday, much less a month ago. Unlike normal people, they're blissfully free of the curse of long-term memory.

Now, Senator McConnell says he won't bring up the bill in the senate, because Trump wouldn't sign it. As he's just a carbuncle on Trump's keister now, he wouldn't dare actually act like the leader of the senate and override Trump's veto. He sees his job as kissing Trump's butt with maximum fervor, period.

On the bright side, that will make it much easier for the Democrats to win the senate in 2020.

There are 49 Democrats in the Senate, it takes 2/3 of the Senate to over ride a veto. Meaning obviously 66 Senators must vote to over ride a veto. 17 Republican Senators would have to vote yes to over ride a veto. That's 1/3 of all Republican Senators. Yes, I'm comfortable in saying 1/3 of Republican Senators would not vote to over ride a veto of a budget bill that did not include border security funding.

As I said, I don't think some of yall even understand basic civics Or math.
