The Obama administration announced Monday that employers with 50 to 99 employees won't have to provide health insurance until 2016, in the second delay for the employer mandate of the Affordable Care Act.
Employers with more than 100 workers will have to comply in 2015. The administration had already delayed until then a mandate which was supposed to have taken effect Jan. 1, 2014.
Employers with fewer than 50 employees do not have to provide health insurance under the ACA. Larger employees will have to either offer coverage to full-time employees or pay fines of about $2,000 per employee.
The delay led to renewed criticism from Republican opponents of the ACA and continued calls that the government also postpone the "individual mandate," which required most Americans to get health insurance this year.

Not a failure- barely started. The website SUCKED, now it's ok, the facts will get out, after a tidal wave of Pubcrappe, and money grabs by greedy Pub crony insurers...Taking it easy on the Pub dupe small businessmen- around election time when the Koch money/bs would really be flying...only 4 per cent of businesses...
The workers who want it can buy great, cheap, subsidized, guaranteed insurance on the exchanges, which insurers are no longer afraid of...change the channel and relax...good Monty.

Hey Franco, your blind loyalty to the ACA shows how little you understand about it. You are as bad as the ones one the right calling for its complete dismantling. There are a number of problems with the ACA. I find it ironic that someone who supports this type of plan does not see any problems with it at all. The problems are fixable, but nobody is going to address those problems if nobody can see what the real problems are.
Here we have a plan that was actually based on a Republican idea but that Republicans now want to destroy and Dems think that it is the best thing since sliced bread. You see, if the ACA helps you, then it's a good thing. If it hurts you, then it's a bad thing. It is hurting some people and that is what needs to be addressed.
