Democrats take the Epstein bait hook, line and sinker

15 Jul 2025 ~~ By DrJohn

The Epstein saga continues, now with a bit of legerdemain. The alleged ā€œEpstein listā€ has disappeared. Pam Bondi made the announcement a couple of weeks ago. When asked about the list In February, Bondi did say ā€œIt’s sitting on my desk right now to review.ā€ Then it stopped existing.
When questioned about her February statement, Bondi did try to walk back her ā€œEpstein listā€ comment after the DOJ memo shut down the idea of a client list existing. She claimed she was talking about the broader case files, not some specific bombshell list.
ā€œI was referring to the entire Epstein case file, thousands of pages of documents, videos, and other materials, some of which include deeply disturbing content like child sexual abuse material. There was no specific ā€˜client list’ as some have speculated, but we are committed to reviewing all relevant materials thoroughly.ā€

Many have seized upon an alleged statement by Alex Acosta. Alex Acosta served as U.S. Attorney from 2005 to 2009 and was appointed Labor Secretary in 2017, serving until his resignation in 2019.
As U.S. Attorney, Acosta negotiated a non-prosecution agreement (NPA) with Epstein’s legal team, which included high-profile attorneys like Jay Lefkowitz and Ken Starr. Under the deal:
  • Epstein pleaded guilty to two state charges (solicitation of prostitution and solicitation involving a minor).
  • He served 13 months of an 18-month sentence in a county jail, with lenient work-release privileges allowing him to spend up to 12 hours a day at his office.
  • Epstein was required to register as a sex offender and pay restitution to victims.
  • The agreement granted immunity to Epstein and four named co-conspirators, plus any unnamed ā€œpotential co-conspirators,ā€ effectively halting the FBI probe into additional victims or accomplices.
A 2020 Justice Department investigation by the Office of Professional Responsibility concluded Acosta exercised ā€œpoor judgmentā€ in opting for the NPA and failing to notify victims but found no professional misconduct or corrupt motives (e.g., Epstein’s wealth or connections).

Dershowitz does feel more material should be released:

ā€œSome of it is material that’s been redacted, some of it sealed by the court, and it comprises several things,ā€ he said. ā€œThere are some that include accusations made by people I know, the people who have been accused, and some of it involves negative material about the accusers. And the courts have redacted those in order to ā€˜protect the victims.'ā€

He added, though, ā€œAre they victims or are they mixed? Some of them are mixed, victims and false accusers. So everything should come out.ā€
But that, he concludes, is up to the Courts.
Now Trump telling the country to move on while democrats are ramping up their calls for making everything public. That includes Dick Durbin, who blocked the release of the Epstein flight logs. They may be asking for a figurative noose, i.e. what they demand be released may wind up impaling themselves. Then you watch how fast the press loses interest.
Pam Bondi has done her job. They’ve fallen into the trap.

Commentary:
Remember when someone ā€œleakedā€ Trump’s federal income tax return (well at least 2 pages) showing that Trump didn’t pay any additional federal income taxes for at least one year other than the portion of his income that was withheld from Trump. I think if there was an Epstein list with Trump’s name on it, this list would have been released to the public before the 2020 election (Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on July 6, 2019).
DSA Marxist Democrats are the ones who created and controlled the documents for four years in the first place. If there was any evidence that Trump was even remotely involved Democrats would have exploited the fact.

The Peewee Herman "I meant to do that" gambit is going to blow up in their faces.

Trump got elected to stop the gaslighting, not to have it used as a sort of weapon.

So is the extreme right.

We Need Clear Heads, And A Plan, About Epstein-Gate

15 Jul 2025 ~~ By Julian R. Sinclair

Over 90% of the responses and discussion about the way the Trump Administration has mishandled the Epstein documents and records have been emotional, vitriolic, or filled with outrage. I can understand why and agree to a large degree: What Jeffrey Epstein did, likely with the approval (if not outright endorsement) of Western intelligence agencies, was a crime against humanity. However, it is in these moments when faced with immense evil that we must proceed with clear heads and not react emotionally.
It speaks well to our side that, unlike the four years in which Biden did not release the Epstein documents, there is a collective rage from the right at the Trump administration’s gross mishandling (some would argue outright cover-up, but I doubt this) of the case. Unlike the Democrats, we demand and hold our leaders accountable, even when it might hurt us. That is because our side actually believes in justice and accountability, even when it is not convenient for us.

It is very easy to say, in a pique of justified outrage, ā€œdamn the consequences, release it all.ā€ But would you be so willing to say the same thing if you yourself might be killed in a war or be forced to live a retirement in poverty? Or would you be willing to inflict those sufferings on others, merely to sate your own outrage?
~Snip~
We should also consider that the memo, which wasn’t signed by anyone, could be a Deep State ploy by rogue employees to discredit the Trump Administration. It hit right when Elon Musk created a third party, and just after President Trump won the 12-Day War. Let us not fall for what could very well be a far-left, deep-state psyop, meant to demoralize our support for President Trump.
There will be grave consequences for America when the truth is finally known. We should prepare for them, and not make blanket declarations about ā€œdamn the consequences, release it all.ā€ And we must never think that those consequences will not affect us personally.

Commentary:
Who does not believe that the leftist Deep State FBI would not take Democrats off the list and put Republicans on the list for political gain? And leave it on Bondi’s desk.
Like the assassination of JFK,and the Vince Foster "suicide" no one will ever know the full truth. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t clean up what we can?
At the present time I am reveling in the many wins of the Trump administration.
If the truth of Epstein’s activities were to come out in total, who among us think there would be justice for the characters in the scheme? I don’t. I watched so many of those who are guilty of Treason walk free I have become numb to the reality of today. A Judiciary and bureaucracy that won’t punish Treason, won’t punish philanderers and blackmailers. I want to see that corrected first.
I would love to see Justice, but it has been elusive throughout history. Epstein is dead, and digging him up and dragging his corpse through the streets will not convince people that true justice has been achieved.

As U.S. Attorney, Acosta negotiated a non-prosecution agreement (NPA) with Epstein’s legal team, which included high-profile attorneys like Jay Lefkowitz and Ken Starr.
Ah, yes. US Attorney Acosta went easy on Epstein.

Trump rewarded Acosta by placing him in his Cabinet as Labor Secretary!

Coincidence?

Trump names first Hispanic Cabinet pick

Now Trump telling the country to move on while democrats are ramping up their calls for making everything public.
Of course Trump wants everyone to move on and stop talking about his best friend Jeffrey, and posting all those embarrassing photos and videos of him hanging with Epstein and Maxwell.

Duh!

That includes Dick Durbin, who blocked the release
of the Epstein flight logs.
The flight logs were released into the public domain during Ghislaine Maxwell's trial in 2021. I do not understand this collective amnesia about this.

Pam Bondi has done her job. They’ve fallen into the trap.

BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

Pam Bondi shot herself in the face in public, and you really want to go with, "They've fallen into a trap"??? :laughing0301:

Oh, man. That's desperate. Priceless.

I think if there was an Epstein list with Trump’s name on it, this list would have been released to the public before the 2020 election
Not if Trump was on that list. I think we would have noticed the redactions, don't you?

DSA Marxist Democrats are the ones who created and controlled the documents for four years in the first place.
A totally manufactured steaming pile of shit by Dear Leader, without a shred of proof, and you wanted to be first in line to gobble it down.

Pathetic.

If there was any evidence that Trump was even remotely involved Democrats would have exploited the fact.
Here's the bad news.

There is no list.

You did not think this through.

Epstein was arrested, as you said, in July 2019.

If there was a list with Democrats even remotely involved on it, it is Trump who would have exploited that fact!

Duh!

Yet he didn't release the list.

You know why?

Because there is no list.

Or...because he was on it.

But I don't believe for a second there is a list.

Bondi fucked up. Bigly. It's what she does. ******* up is her thing. Trump hired her to make everyone else look smarter than they are.

That did little to mollify Trump’s supporters, who urged him to release the files or risk losing his base. At least one follower responded to Trump’s post by saying it seemed as though the president was just trying to make the issue go away — but assured him it wouldn’t.

The political crisis is especially challenging for Trump because it’s one of his own making. The president has spent years stoking dark theories and embracing QAnon-tinged propaganda that casts him as the only savior who can demolish the ā€œdeep state.ā€

Now that he’s running the federal government, the community he helped build is coming back to haunt him. It’s demanding answers he either isn’t able to or does not want to provide.

ā€œThe faulty assumption Trump and others make is they can peddle conspiracy theories without any blowback,ā€ said Matt Dallek, a political scientist at George Washington University. ā€œThe Epstein case is a neat encapsulation that it is hard to put the genie back in the bottle.ā€

The Base thinks there is a list.

It does not matter that there is not.

That gang is stupendous when believing things that are not true are, indeed, so true that it makes them pee.

And yet DOGE revealed that Trump's name is on the list that Bondi/Trump seem to have destroyed.

This entire Epstein scandal, which threatens to rip MAGA into pieces was entirely manufactured by, whipped up, contained in and now spilled out of the MAGAverse.

Democrats had absolutely nothing to do w/it.

The OP is proven and proud hyper-partisan liar.

I love when Doc roasts himself.
It's entertaining to watch this RWM conspiracy theory, flogged by The Following for years, blow up their stupid faces. So much so now there is a concerted effort to make it all about the Dem's. Which should be easy to sell to the rubes since facts never have to enter the equation.
