Non-citizens were and are clearly not eligable to vote in Federal Elections and states do not allow it, to the point it is almost unheard of, in reality and no mass arrests or reports have ever surfaced. I have never skipped a Presidential, Senatorial, Congressional, Gubernatorial or state legislative election, or mayoral election in my life, since age 18. I have even voted absentee, when the election coincided with overseas duty. It is unlikely I would actually start skipping elections now. Most of the time, I have voted for best candidate. Sometimes I have and will vote, to ensure voting specifically against a candidate, I considered totally unworthy of office, or even dangerous to the long-term good of the country. Voting, for short-term political support of a party, is pretty much non-existent. I always think and act in long-term interests. That is how one should plan, operate and vote.
