The discovery of classified documents in Joe Biden's home and Penn Biden Center, is getting older day by day. And the response of Democrats can be described in a single word >Stonewall. Nobody wants to answer any questions, and nobody is. Hey, aren't these the guys who don't like walls ?

Here's a list a non-responders >
1. Joe Biden
2. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco
3. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre
4. spokesperson for the White House counsel's office, Ian Sams
5. National Archives Acting Archivist Debra Wall

Questions not being answered >>
1. Why wasn't the DOJ investigation made public until 2 months after the first documents were found ?
2. What prompted the president's personal lawyers to go back to his Wilmington Home on Jan. 11, after document discoveries in November, before the midterms, and in December ?
3. Will Biden agree to sit down for an interview with the special counsel (Robert Hur) ?
4. Who had been in Jie Biden's garage that could have seen these documents ?
5. May Biden have used the documents for personal, financial or some other gain ?
6. What exactly is in the classified documents ?

A few side notes : With Biden's avoidance of questioning, a few speculations have arose about why he has gone mum.
  • he doesn't have his talking points card yet...
  • the teleprompter is broken
  • earphone is in the repair shop.

Yes... and THAT is the most intriguing part of the whole story. If he's being shown the door, then I'm quite interested in what kind of deal McConnell is going to make to give them the Kamala replacement they have in mind. The Senate will have to approve of a new VP appointment. I assume marble-mouth can deliver enough R votes to approve her "choice".

The cover up is becoming worse than the act.
Why hasn't the FBI taken over the investigation?
Who had access to these classified documents that were laying out in the open for 6 years?
How did these documents go from the V.P.s office in D.C. to Wilmington Delaware?
Are there more Classified Documents to be found?

The discovery of classified documents in Joe Biden's home and Penn Biden Center, is getting older day by day...
It is obviously an embarrassment.

Although the President didn't lie about having them, or refuse to return them until a grand jury had to approve a subpoena for their recovery, he should still follow the standard response that has already been established:

1) Claim they were planted by mysterious, disreputable, "deep state" blackguards, and incite his goons to spew death threats against any government agencies, judges, and law enforcement agents involved.

2) Claim that he had declassified all of the documents that had been planted mysterious, disreputable, "deep state" blackguards with his mind.

3) Claim that all those those "Top Secret!" folders are nifty souvenirs.

Yes, it sounds incredibly feeble, but some have already confirmed that they are willing to buy such lame excuses.

More sweet cooperation apples for President Biden and lots of obstructionist sour grapes for Benedict Donald.

1. Biden lied about having them by leading the American people to believe that sensitive US information was secure, and not being put at risk.

2. Biden refused to return them by not doing so for what (6 years ?) Gag!

3. Trump's claim about FBI planting documents may be unproven but it os just as unproven to say it didn't happen. At this point, it very well have been planted. Let anyone come forth to prove it wasn't. And what circumstantial evidence exists tens to point in Trump's favor. As he said >> "And remember, we could have NO representative, including lawyers, present during the Raid. They were told to wait outside,”

4. Presently, there is no legal statue or standing to say that a US president cannot declasssify documents with his mind, or in any particular way. The Constitution, executive orders and case law clearly give the president broad authority to classify and declassify documents. Similarly, prevailing law also requires federal officials to follow certain procedures in declassifying documents to establish specificity and memorialization for future handling. BUT the extent of a president’s legal authority to unilaterally declassify materials — without those formalities — has yet to be challenged in court.

5. FALSE! Trump does not claim to have documents as "keepsakes" His claim was to have kept FOLDERS as "keepsakes". The answer to which is So What ?

Even if a President or former president does not try to blame unauthorized possession of classified documents on mysterious "deep state" agents planting them, or insisting that whatever is found (via voluntary cooperation or requiring a court subpoenaed searches) - whether a few or hundreds, - had all been declassified by his mind, it is imperative, in each case, to appoint Special Counsel to thoroughly investigate any breaches of national security.

Hyper-partisan claptrap is no substitute in either case.
