She is in a safe district, so she doesn't have a lot to worry about.

Texas dems writ large is a different animal. The Hispanic majority counties that border Mexico (historically) have been reliably blue counties. But that has shifted the last three cycles and this year almost all of them went for Trump. Her comments will not sit well with those Hispanics.

Dems think all Hispanics are the same, but they aren't. Hispanics in Texas or Florida are not like Hispanics in California or New York...
