Looking at polls of which issues voters consider most important, I don't think the 'KKKrats are seeing clearly on this.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” Senate Majority Whip Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) responded to Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) inflation concerns on climate legislation by stating that climate is “an emergency” that “We have to do everything that we can” about, and this is “more important than any current economic statistics” like inflation.

Come on, midterms!!!
The problems is that after each election cycle we are shoved to one side or another now. Over a half century ago there was supposed to be no beaches anymore. They pushed this while they still promoted building on barrier islands and ocean front land. Technology has improved dramatically on observing the planet. And it is used to skewer everything for their globalist climate demands. These corrupted asses have maneuvered themselves as our benefactors for the earth. The truth is they sold out the United States for a global government. And they have divided us up to bring their goals into reality.

The economy is a short term challenge
Climate change is a long term challenge

You can make the CO2 out put in the U.S. zero tomorrow and world wide CO2 levels would still rise because of CHina, India and a host of other countries. Yet.. Democrat politicians are willing to tank the U.S. economy and lower the standard of living all to "save the planet"... make U.S. oil companies the enemy, while they dont have a problem buying foreign oil,

Politicians do politics. Sadly they all think they understand real life. They need to find some better experts to listen to.

Yes climate change is long term. Climate change has been happening for 4.5 billion years. Anyone who has ever read a science book knows that. Even in highschool they show how the earth is not static, it's in a ever changing chaotic state and that 55 million years ago the average temperature of earth was 13 degrees hotter than it is now and is the reason why the antarctic used to be a rain Forrest.

So yes it's a long term thing that's been happening for billions of years before man and will continue billions of years after man.

Climate Change has been going on for 4.5 billion years but it has escalated dramatically in the last 100 years

Corresponds with our industrial revolution

Lefties miss that power rush they had during the Covid epidemic. Short of martial law, an unconstitutional directive like a "climate emergency" that encompasses practically every aspect of life and it's the best power grab they can get.

Exactly. The covid tyranny was a dry run for the big one - the "climate emergency" lockdown.

Well, I have to give them credit for saying it now, even though that has been their policy for a long time. So, it's official now, they are willing to accept even higher inflation to fight the climate. The hell with the economy and inflation. You've got to give them credit for having the balls to "come out".
