Ah, yes, the old, "get the money out of politics" gambit. Here's the reality, you're never going to get money out of politics because money and power attract each other. No matter what you try to do, those with power will sell it to those with money, and those with money will try to gain power. Case in point, when TRUMP! shut Hillary up during the debate. She was complaining about TRUMP! using tax breaks and he laid it out that her major donors were doing the same things he was doing. Her donors were chasing power with their money, and she was chasing money by offering power. That's why TRUMP!'s insistence that he didn't need big donors resonated so well with the voting populace, they knew he couldn't be bought, whereas she could. The same thing happened with Quid Pro Joe, who entered office relatively well off and left wealthy. How coincidental that his son got very lucrative do-nothing jobs while he was in the White House. I wonder how many paintings he's managed to sell lately?
See, democrats are the party of the rich. We can do this all day long if you want to, but you're never going to successfully make the case that democrats are less money hungry than Republicans are, and in fact are a lot more open about their disdain for the lower classes.
