The Washington Compost screams out 'scandal' as plagiarism is revealed in the Senator's thesis.
Pleeezzzzeeee!
The story follows, but lets remember that Democrats had no compunction in electing a rapist President- twice.....
...and championed as 'the Liberal Lion' a cad who caused the death of a young girl....
....and elected a Senator from Connecticut who ran on his sterling Viet Nam war accomplishments.....but didn't even go there.
Can I bring up the current White House inhabitant, for whom backing infanticide was no bar to election?
OK....here comes the big deal.....
1. "Plagiarism scandal overshadows [Democrat] Sen. John WalshÂ’s moment to shine
2. ....the Montana Democrat, who was appointed to the Senate just five months ago and now finds himself and locked in an uphill battle to win a full term this fall.
3. ' “Walsh plagiarized final paper for college degree” and “Walsh plagiarized thesis.”'
4. Walsh’s nonpolitical biography — soldier, leader, hero — was a reason he soared so quickly in the polical sphere. But he has become a cautionary tale about novice candidates who rise quickly without the appropriate vetting.
[My fav paragraph in the story...can you guess why...?.]
5. [This, just as funny:] While Republican campaign operatives assailed his plagiarism as disqualifying, Democratic colleagues stood behind him.
6. Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) said it was a “hiccup” that would not be a determining factor in Walsh’s race....
[Wad' I tell ya']
7. On Tuesday, Walsh skipped a news conference on the issue. [How come he didn't simply use the Clinton strategy 'I did not have plagiarism with that paper....and now I have to get back to the work of the American people!
And carry an oversized Bible!]
8. ....and he’s moving forward with his life.”
[Close enough.]
