Here’s logic. If people are not supposed to LEGALLY be here in the first place, that’s less chance of murders. If all those 20 million people are added to the population legally, yes, there is more change of a murder or crime being committed because more people simply means more of a chance, but that is a chance worth taking vs a murder or crime taking place at the hands of an illegal simply that if the immigration law was enforced, those intent on committing murder or additional crimes would not be here.

Saying that murder and other crimes will take place regardless is not building the case for open borders.
