Hitler and the Nazis loved animals, which is why he was a vegetarian.

The Nazi's passed the most stringent laws protecting animals from laboratory experiments in human history.

If you harmed an animal, you would have either wound up on the Russian front or a concentration camp awaiting a "shower".

I was a tad disappointed they did not point out that the Nazis were also progressive environmentalists.

They abhorred the notion of a damn on the Rhine river, for example, and created the first national parks in Europe and put animals and various vegetation endangered lists to protect for the first time in Europe as well.
