feb 13 2025 A Democrat in Congress is urging Americans to “bring actual weapons” against Elon Musk as the head of DOGE continues to expose massive amounts of spending waste in the federal government.

U.S. Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., told CNN on Wednesday that Musk is “harming the American public in an enormous way, and what I think is really important and what the American public want, is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight.

“This is an actual fight for democracy, for the future of this country.”

During a DOGE Subcommittee hearing earlier in the day, Garcia held up a giant photo of a dapper Musk in a tuxedo, and referred to it as a “d*ck pic.”

The thing with democrats is they're used to being able to do and say as they want without repercussions. Republicans in the past have only condemned them without taking action. Whether it be from the higher road, cowardice, or backroom collusions with democrats, republicans have never really taken democrats to task for their actions so they're just as equally responsible for allowing this behavior to go on.

It'll be interesting to see if the new administration will actually fight back against such behavior though and hold them accountable. If not, it's just business as usual for democrats and they can continue to act as they want.
