Democrat Candidate Caught Admitting She Hates the Very City She Wants to Represent

The last thing any campaign needs heading into a tight special election is a candidate telling voters she cannot stand the very city she wants to represent.

Yet that is exactly the mess Democratic State Rep. Aftyn Behn walked herself into after a resurfaced 2020 podcast clip dropped her right into the middle of a storm. In that audio, Behn went on a tirade that would make any Nashville resident wince.

She said, “I hate the city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate the pedal taverns, I hate country music, I hate all of the things that make Nashville apparently an ‘it’ city to the rest of the country.

But I hate it.”

Quite a sales pitch for someone asking voters to send her to Washington on their behalf.

Unusual, yes, I guess so.
I don't know - It worked for Obama.
She's trying a new way of campaigning that no one has ever tried before. I have to commend her for thinking outside the box. But, I hope she's got another gig lined up because I doubt this one's going to work out.

Trump used to love NYC now he doesn't. No wonder he only got 18% of their votes.
She is one wacko lib piece of work

The only thing missing from her resume is being a lesbian

And I suspect its only a matter of time till she comes out of the closet

Is this her? Just listen to those screams. I'd say 5 days in lockup for disturbing the peace. Whatever happened to Law & Order? DEMs happened//

A new Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey of the special election for US Congress in Tennessee's 7th district finds 48% of voters support Republican Matt Van Epps and 46% support Democrat Aftyn Behn. Two percent plan to vote for one of three third-party candidates on the ballot, and 5% are undecided. When undecided voters are asked which candidate they lean toward, Van Epps' overall support increases to 49%, and Behn to 47%.
"The special election in Tennessee's 7th District will come down to what groups are motivated to turnout on election day, and who stays home," Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling, said.

It isn't so much that this scrunt is insane. And stupid. And hateful. There are millions of people like that. Everywhere

There always have been and Yes, Virginia -- There always will be.

What's bad news is the millions of so-called Americans that will vote for someone just like her.

Which brings me to -- "dimocraps are scum ESPECIALLY the voters" Carve in stone. It is factually correct.

Without total scumbag, gutless, hateful, vicious, nasty, America-Hating voters, dimocraps couldn't get elected dog-catcher.

Strange world we are in.

We got an AG in VA who couldn't pass a background check, and Nashville might elect a cat lady who sees a therapist and probably hates America.

There is a reason YOU claim you lie all the time.
Yes my reason is because Trump lies all the time. Did you hear he claimed he won Michigan Man of the Year once before he was ever president? No he never did. So put that right there with Hillary saying she was under sniper fire in Kosovo. Any reason you cared when Hillary lied but you don't care that Trump lies constantly? And don't call me out for lying if you won't call out Trump.

It might be difficult to keep track of so many awards....

"Trump was honored as the Man of the Decade which was reported in the 2023 story"

No he wasn't. I clicked on your link

In August, former Rep. Dave Trott (R-Mich.) suggested Trump was likely referring to the 2013 dinner in his mistaken recollection.

“I was the organizer and chair of that, and we weren’t handing out Man of the Year awards and never have,” Trott told The Detroit News. “That’s not part of the club’s mission.”

This is just like Hillary making up that she was under sniper fire in Kosovo. Just like it. You see, she went overseas to pad her foreign affairs experience and while in a helicopter she was told they could be under sniper fire. So in her mind, while flying over Kosovo, she was under sniper fire. And how would anyone be able to check? Well, they did. Just like we checked and Trump never won Michigan Man of the Year. Try again.

Hillary Clinton first made the claim that she landed under sniper fire in March 2008, during a speech at George Washington University while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination.
