A growing number of Democratic lawmakers from across the Midwest are revealing they were named on the alleged target list of Vance Boelter, the suspect in the shooting of two Minnesota state lawmakers and their spouses.

Why it matters: The shooting has sent chills through Congress, with one House Democrat even cancelling a town hall event that was scheduled for Monday because she was named in the list.

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) told Axios he was informed by the Capitol Police that his name appeared on another list found in Boelter's car.
Ohio Reps. Joyce Beatty and Marcy Kaptur were also named in the papers, their offices told Axios. Beatty's security was boosted as a result, her spokesperson said
