Dem Rep. Told Colleagues Coronavirus Bill Is ‘Tremendous Opportunity to Restructure Things to Fit Our Vision’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) worked to scupper the phase-three coronavirus relief package on Sunday after Majority Whip James Clyburn (D., S.C.) told caucus members last week that the bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”
Clyburn’s comments came on a Thursday call featuring more than 200 House Democrats, during which caucus members laid out a list of provisions they wanted to be included in the Senate’s trillion-dollar package.
Republicans have said that Democrats have reportedly demanded increased bargaining powers for unions, as well as environmental regulations for airlines and more wind and solar tax credits.
Pelosi flew into Washington, D.C. over the weekend to add demands to negotiations, a move that Senate Republicans have cited as the reason why the procedural vote to fast-track the legislation fell by a party-line vote on Sunday night.
Speaking after the vote, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) slammed Democrats for playing politics in a time of crisis.

Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrats cannot be trusted. Rather than work together with Republicans and especially president Trump, they have turned against the people in need that voted them into office.
McConnell is right, Schumer, Pelosi and Clyburn are wrong to use this moment in time to push their agenda. The dishonesty inherent in this behavior belies any PMS/DSA Democrat Leftist claim of acting in the best interests of the American people. The sick parade of Schumer, Pelosi and their cronies has become increasingly hard to watch as they march towards their own roguery ends. Don't even think about following the money and corruption involved...it will only make you sad, and angrier.
The Left's push to include the Green Move in the proposed Bills is a stake in the hearts of those Americans in need of assistance at the present time. The so called Democrats show no love or loyalty to those that have elected them to the office(s) the hold.

Yep....they are more than willing and able to burn down the U.S. economy........to get rid of Trump and enact their agenda........a new Great Depression is exactly what they want....and it works for them....

I've been predicting for years that this is what they were planning....I just didn't know exactly how they were gonna do it.

Umm. Six weeks of no action by Trump responding to the virus outbreak and now Mitch and his crew looking for more benes for their corporate masters have pretty much assured that. Just placing the blame where the blame is due.
