I think that cancelling the visit makes sense on many levels. The cost alone is likely to be enormous. Turning London into a militarised zone would cost a lot.

They don't have the balls, for one thing they don't have enough troops and second the public in those Countries would soon lose their enthusiasm for war when bodies start coming back home, and in that sort of war there would be a lot of them, they still think they are dealing with sandal wearing peasants in Afghanistan and they didn't do too bad.
