Defending the right to pray in our schools

You were, whether you realized it or not.
It was the teacher's idea, yes, but it was our decision to go with it. We were not coerced and I say that as the 42-year-old female that I am now. The first year that we did it, one person actually voted no.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. The person who voted no was not me and to be honest, it was never said who voted no.

We need more like Ryan Walters. He's fighting for the good guys. Make America Moral Again!

You can pray in a school, you just can't have it teacher led excluding others.

I have Bible verses at my computer.

My boss has a Bible at his desk. Yes, public schools.

Our students can pray.

The only caveat to this is I cannot PREACH, nor can my boss. And that is how it should be. I have the right to MY faith, but I do not have the right to impede anyone else's unless they consent. And children in public schools are a "captive audience".

No they aren't. You MAGAs make up all kinds of crazy shit. You can support all kinds of things without it becoming a religion. Lots of people love seafood, but you can't really call that a religion, can you?

You have a religion, and here's how you know.

When your people are divorcing family members because they voted differently, it's not even a religion.

It's a CULT

I've long argued the parties (noted, parties) have become cults. No, not just one side.

You point out one aspect. This thread points out another as it's already been noted that prayer has never been removed from schools.

Trump voters are not the ones online vowing to disown their families, cut their hair, and have no interaction with the opposite sex because of politics.

That's all liberals.

So no.

But they are using religion to push their politics as we see here. You also remember the uproar over the idea of a wife not voting along with her husbands desires just before the election, I'm sure.

Claims of divorce were made there.

Fox News Host Says He’d Divorce His Wife for Voting for Kamala Harris

I knew you would bring up ONE CASE, as you always do. One case is not a movement as it is on the Left

LOL, as I always do? You didn't even bring up an actual instance. Claims on the internet are not actual instances and even if you find three out of millions, as you note, that is not a movement.

That right there is an example of cult thinking.

yes, they are. Pride is a moral celebration, when all that should be taught is tolerance.

And DEI is a blame game, not a educational system.

Do you have evidence showing there are more people from one party filing for divorce than for another party and their reasons for filing? I'm sure your absurd remark would seem perfectly logical to some gossipy old biddy, but not to anyone else.
