Just like these unconfirmed and non-verified protestor killings. The Iranian government has confirmed around 3500 dead - due to being involved in violent actions. And what you seem to ignore is that Iran has free elections (candidates need to be vetted by the supreme council) - there are more then 100 parties in Iran - with 5 major parties making up parliament.
Divided in majority between conservative and reformer parties. In the past 3 years the conservatives hold a 55% majority.
