Dear Ted Cruz

You want to talk about false statements, in 2000 Trump said he wouldn't associate with the reform party because of David Duke and a couple of other people. On Friday, he disavowed Duke, then yesterday he said he didn't really know who Duke was. So is Trump senile, stupid or just a liar?

What you seem to be doing is justifying Cruz's behavior. Look, they all lie. Cruz lies, Trump lies, Rubio lies. But it only seems to be Trump receiving all the scrutiny. I have been closely scrutinizing the candidates since August. The one theme that emerged was: I didn't like any of them. I picked Trump as one of three equal evils.

I find it interesting, no matter who the candidate may be, that when someone gets so behind a guy, they are willing to dismiss any wrongdoing on his part. I'm baffled by it.

The senility I sense is coming from the establishment. Outright paranoia in some cases. An establishment who will do whatever it takes to stop Trump that they would give this country away to a criminal in a pantsuit. Willing to send this country headlong to her destruction only to stop one man.

If they do, it will be a pyrrhic victory.

Trump is a liar and a child. I originally thought I'd vote for Rubio, but then he stooped to playing Trump’s game with all the s**t slinging. Cruz did the same thing.

That made them equally as detestable in my eyes. But I digress.

If you look at Trump's language, you will see more consistently that he has disavowed his affiliations with David Duke and the KKK. Funny how his comments 16 years ago didn't come up when David Duke "endorsed" Donald Trump last week.

Cruz has probably 300+ paid staffers around the country and more than 2000 volunteers. The people closest to him should be keeping tabs on the activities of the staffers, how does anyone discipline a volunteer?

His vetting process it seems, was flawed. For example, his campaign hiring porn star Amy Lindsay. I found it funny that somehow the Cruz campaign missed such a glaring thing as her career in the porn industry. That's not to say she wasn't fit to hire, but that Cruz claims to be a Bible thumping evangelical. Hiring a porn actress to do one of your campaign ads speaks contrary to that. So, she is one example, Cruz's communications director was the other, who posted a video of Rubio without researching or vetting its credibility.

Evidently he has a better handle on his campaign than the dear leader has in the white house.

The "oh, at least he's not like Obama" card. Sorry, that doesn't excuse his behavior. Anyone who uses that on behalf of any of the candidates is simply ignoring what their candidate has done wrong.

Hell he has to rely on the news to find things out, he should have fired his senior staff years ago.

Agreed. But he isn't running for the Republican nomination. Cruz is.

I certainly share the feelings you have about the Cruz campaign.
As a Texan, I have no hesitation at all to give my vote to Trump over Cruz.
People who fool the voters like that must pay for their actions.

If Ted fails as a politician he will make an excellent evangelical preacher. Dude has a gift for gab and spewing bs.

Trump is crying about his own words being used against him, Cruz is being slammed for guilt by association. The inconsistencies I pointed out about Trump is what he said.

I can't believe the hypocritical assholes that claim to be Christian. Amy Lindsay has done nothing more racy that Halle Berry, Sharon Stone or many other main stream actresses. Even if she did, aren't second chances and redemption supposed to be Christian principles? In any event the Cruz campaign hired a production company to do their ads, it was their responsibility to vet the actors they hired. If I had been advising Cruz, I would have told him to run them, the vast majority of people in the country had no idea who Lindsay was. Do you think anyone would have said a word about an A list actress that had done similar scenes?
