Try getting into the socialistic health care system of any European country. Try getting it for free. Try buying a house in Mexico. And speaking of Mexico, illegal immigrants from Coasta Rica to Mexico get 10 years in their rat hole prison on the third offense. National sovereignty is a reality.
It's not clear what the point is, but I'm going to assume that you're making the age-old criticism against the liberal claim that there is no morally superior culture - rather - there are only a multitude of human expressions, each equally valuable in its uniqueness.
Frankly, I'm with you in your criticism.
I think you're also implying that we can and should exist separate from all these other nations, and that liberals are wrong for wanting to create a multicultural love feast. I agree that Liberals are wrong, but I feel kind of sad for you, in a respectful way. Here is where you go off track.
The noble goal of preserving "Borders, Language, Culture" died with Ronald Reagan.
Son, that ship has sailed.
I invite you to study what happened to investment capital starting in the 80s. It started investing in cheaper labor so that investors could realize a higher return. For example, when Nike sneakers or Ipads are made in Taiwan
for sweatshop labor costs, American investors make a shit-load more money. For this reason, it became profitable for corporations and investors to ship American jobs to anywhere with cheaper labor and cheaper operating costs, including Mexico.
Son, the wealthy wanted access to all the world's labor and all the world's raw material. They opened all borders so capital could flow.
Son, you're probably a nice man, but it's clear you've never taken a university level poly-sci, econ or history course. The American Left did not open our borders, the profit makers did.
This one is on John Galt.
(Psst: you've been lied to. The wealthy interests which fund and run your party have destroyed the middle class by shipping their jobs to freedom-hating nations with oppressed work forces. Your party is the reason the jobs are gone - and your party is why the jobs are not coming back.... because investors will not pay first world labor costs. Yes, Bill Clinton was absolutely part of the problem; he was deeply committed to letting capital go where it could earn the highest returns. He completed the Reagan Revolution of providing capital with mobility)
(Psst: turn off talk radio and get yourself to a library. The agricultural, construction, and fast food industries in Southern California depend on illegal labor. Their investors would never pay the high cost of an American labor market. Never. This is why the borders are open: capital wants higher returns and it has gotten in bed with Mexico and Communist China and every other freedom-hating nation. The story of America's decline is the story of how business sold the American worker down river. We tried to repair this problem by giving the middle class credit cards. This actually made sense because they needed the means to keep purchasing so that the economy would stay afloat. Unfortunately, this idea ended up in the bankrupting of an entire generation. And now there is no demand. People can't afford to spend, and business therefor has no incentive to add jobs)
you've been lied to son.
