OMG, how freaky.

Backflip FBI agent accidentally shoots man

An off-duty FBI agent accidentally shot a bystander in the leg when his gun fell from its holster as he cavorted on the dance-floor of a bar in Denver, Colorado, police said.

Video widely shared on Twitter shows the agent strutting his stuff and then performing a backflip.

The gun falls to the floor and, as the agent goes to grab it, fires a shot.

The fellow customer hit by the bullet was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

It is unclear if the agent, who has not been named, will face charges or disciplinary action.

Why is the FBI necessary? Someone please explain.

You would think an agent of the FBI would know not to pick up a gun with his finger on the trigger.

Since it was an accident, I doubt he will be charged.

But I'm sure he will face some kind of disciplinary action.

And his FBI career is basically over. ....

I didn't know FBI agents had mandatory polyester clothing requirements.

Like anyone else.. striped of all firearms, stand trial civil & criminal without any special exemptions. Fed. with the prerogative to pile on additional action.

Why is an off duty FBI agent frequenting a bar while armed?

I used to open carry to bars and it made people nervous, but I wasnt doing back flips sheesh! Even I have more sense than that!

WITH A ROUND CHAMBERED!

So much for better training stopping accidental shootings!

I carry with a rubber bullet chambered so that I can draw and fire with one hand, in case my left gets pinned.

Wish more people did that, then accidental discharges might not be so lethal.

He was just getting ready for the up and coming Senate hearings.

Mine as well learn how to dance around now.

You would think an FBI agent would keep his gun in a holster, as opposed to tucking it in the back of his pants like a gangbanger.

I read somewhere that he used an inside the pants holster, but apparently it was not designed to defy gravity while being shaken.

You mean aside from their unique ability to solve all manner of crimes quickly and stopping terrorism?

Not necessarily....just depends if he shot a democrat or a republican....if it was a democrat he is a goner.
