CT Homeowner Fights Off Four Carjacker Scumbags

I knew several such people back in the day. To my knowledge none of them could stop getting into trouble with the law. It was in their genes it seemed. Other than that, they were nice guys, and fun to be around. :(
So other than the fact that they were criminals, they were fun to be around?

I knew someone convicted of rape. Other than that, he was a nice guy.

That's my experience. None ever tried to involve me in their capers, as they recognized the integrity of my high moral character.

I steered clear of lowlifes, even if they didn’t involve me. But that’s me.

Should be a requirement under the law.

Would definitely put a dent in rising auto thefts.

We used to shoot people for stealing a horse, but not 300 horses?
The people/farmers used to use rock salt shot on thieves, otherwise if they were caught stealing. Won't kill ya, but dam does it sting as it enters the skin, and then it has to be picked out. Ouch 😳.

A little harsh. I’d go for:
I understand where you’re coming from. It’s nice, if extremely naive that you look at these individuals as people, worthy of a second chance, rather than the mindless animals that they are.

Yes, unfortunately I knew people like this as well. They didn't involve me in their criminal activities that they would perpetrate, otherwise when away from me, but I'd end up hearing about them later on or once they got busted for them.

Seemed nice enough when around me, but people will fool ya.

When anyone decides to go criminal, they become untamed or wild animals.

And yet locking his car would have avoided the entire scene.

You people who think you should never lock your car or the doors to your house are just plain stupid.
Again with the blaming the victim.. You're pathetic.

Criminal records include misdemeanors. Grand theft auto is a felony, and these four scumbags should be sent to prison for that in addition to assault.

Let’s at least lock up the felons. We can get a good amount of money by blocking all the illegals coming in. They cost us billions a year. Think how many new prisons we could build, every year, just on that alone.
Think about how we could then quit lying to the senior citizen's about how Social security is going broke (what to do, what to do), and hoping they die in the ponzi scheme before they ever get their money.

There is so much injustice going on that how people remain hopeful is really getting harder and harder to understand.

Wow. And you just can‘t help yourself, can you? Focus on what the victim did wrong instead of what the lowlife scumbags did.

And is that what you’ll say to the family of a victim murdered in her sleep? “Well, she should have locked her doors”?!

It’s your type of upside-down thinking that has the country in major decline.

So you deny the FACT that locking your car doors deters or prevents theft and actually makes you safer

got it.

I bet this guy's father called him and told him he should have locked his car too.

Clunkers rule!
Because they are a security system all unto themselves!!!

These work pretty good too for an anti-theft device.

I think I’m being realistic. It’s not reasonable to put someone in prison for LIFE for a misdemeanor. But we need to have them in jail for at least a brief while as both punishment and a warning that worse will come if they repeat. As it stands now, leftists are clamoring to reduce misdemeanors to a small fine.

OK….now I know you’re trolling. All your contempt for the victim and not a word of disapproval for the thugs. Ha, ha.

Oh I'm sorry I should be bemoaning the fucking obvious that there are some bad people who commit crimes.

Wake the fuck up Pollyanna

Once again

I am not really a "liberal" and I'm not "blaming" anyone.

Why is it you emotional knee jerkers think that stating a fact is somehow an insult?
First of all please explain, just what is a "not really a liberal"?
Secondly, I just stated a fact as I see it and somehow you took it as an insult.

Actually you didn't state a single fact.

you ASSumed some shit and that's about it.

My political and philosophical views don't fit into your little pigeonholes because I am not a democrat , republican or libertarian I am a pragmatist.

And I didn't say one disparaging thing about the guy who almost got his car stolen.

We can all sleep more peacefully now, knowing that as a practicable-oriented person, you would not have voted for Biden and never would.

I haven't voted for any politician from the corrupt duopoly in 30 years.
