Critics see Trump attacks on the 'Black Smithsonian' as an effort to sanitize racism in US history

Funny shit "it's not your party" but you defend it like it was the last piece of steak on the table of fat people who haven't eaten in 7 days.

i defend either party when warranted. i've voted across the spectrum & i bet i voted for more (R)s than you could ever vote outside the ' GOP '. granted most (R)s ended up in prison ..............

You don’t know the first thing about the DoE.

But every school system in the nation just had their operating budget by 10% or more (and the more is in the poorest parts of the nation.
How so? The school system where I live just raised its budget, and to do so raised our property taxes.

Damn you just keep digging that hole. In my 15 years being here I've yet to see you defend anything but a democrat

only because it's illegal.

still carrying a flag that signafied wanting the right to own people.

like carrying torches chanting ' jews will not replace us ' ?

not really.
You loons want men in girls locker rooms. We aren't the same. If you're black I don't care, you're the one worried about it. Imagine that?

Trump passed just such a requirement on Federal agencies yesterday

Try to keep up
And? Where else? What or how many organizations are prohibited from celebrating these accomplishments? How are
Why is it being erased from all government entities, sites and publications?
Does the Government policy only apply to minorities and gays or is it universal? Are we seeing Straight White Males celebrated by the Government only??

All of the Countries today practicing slavery and / or treating second or multi-level citizenship - these countries are predominantly non-white and non-democratic.

By Comparison, the US had a shorter tenure with slavery and officially enforcing second class laws. US had the moral compass to end both.

It is our History.
It is who we are.
The U.S. found their moral compass after 620,000 died because some people thought that they had a right to own human beings. That too is our history. We also know what Colonialism did to Africa.

Absolutely
Remember that “All men are created equal”?

That Revolution was an opportunity to end slavery once and for all. They kicked the can down the road
It eventually cost us 600,000 lives
But that's not the reality of today...Yes all men are created equal, and yes we did have slavery in this country. That was abolished.

Now, 150 plus years later, you can't let it go...

Why should anyone ignore that slavery happened?

Who are you? Trump?

Interesting you should ask
Trump is doing just that with Universities threatening to withhold federal aid if they maintain DEI policies

Again, we moved on. Today, Slavery is dominated by non-whites throughout the world in nations that started slavery long before the US did.

You people choose to beat on the US continuously about its significantly comparatively brief Slavery legacy while the practice started long before the US did it and continues today in Nations that still condone it.

Slavery is just a means or a vehicle to beat up the US to you people.

We had slavery for 250 years. Even after we created a nation where “All men are created equal”
Even after abolition of slavery, we still maintained second class citizenship for blacks for 100 years.

Not a legacy to be proud of.

Trump demands we don’t talk about it

I suggest you self deport…:laughing0301:

We moved on from both slavery and Jim Crow. That is to be celebrated and not used as a modern day vehicle to continuously shame America over and over again while slavery and second class rules persists in predominantly non-white cultures throughout the Globe.

You people choose to have America pay for its sins over and over again. This perpetuates friction as opposed to unity. Then again, liberals and Democrats need friction, misery, guilt, and shame in order to thrive.
