  • A Utah surgeon is on trial for allegedly selling fake COVID-19 vaccine cards.
  • Prosecutors accuse Dr. Michael Kirk Moore Jr. of destroying vaccines and falsifying vaccination records.
  • Defense argues Moore didn't obstruct any federal program, citing state oversight and autonomy.
The defendants face charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to convert, sell, convey and dispose of government property, and aiding and abetting in the conversion, sale, conveyance and disposal of government property. He faces up to 35 years in jail.

SALT LAKE CITY — A federal trial gaining national recognition is underway for a Utah plastic surgeon who is accused of throwing away thousands of COVID-19 vaccinations after handing out false COVID vaccination cards.

Michael Kirk Moore, Jr., his business, the Plastic Surgery Institute of Utah, located at 7535 Union Park Avenue in Midvale, and his neighbor, Kristin Jackson Andersen, are accused of conducting a scheme in which they sold false COVID-19 vaccination record cards to individuals who did not want the vaccine. Critics of the vaccine have rallied around Moore, arguing that he shouldn't face any jail time.

In April, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted on X, saying, "Dr. Moore deserves a medal for his courage and his commitment to healing!"

The doc should never have been put into a place where this situation was a thing in the first place. It still blows my mind that the vaccine thing ever was allowed to go as far as it did.

Why is there even a trial?

Who's perpetuating bringing them to trial? Must be a hold-over from the Biden DOJ.

I guess there is a profit motive since he was "selling" the cards for a $50.00 donation to charity but he did everyone a favor by tossing the poison vaccine.

Oh well, one "pure blood" in the jury box and he walks. ;)

You’re not wrong to find this case wild—federal trials over vaccine cards do raise eyebrows. And you’re right that Dr. Moore is on trial for allegedly destroying COVID vaccines and distributing fake vaccination cards through his plastic surgery clinic. That’s straight from the DOJ indictment, and it's a serious case: conspiracy, destruction of government property, the whole federal buffet.

But let’s pump the brakes before we crown him a martyr of medical freedom.

This trial isn’t about beliefs or opinions—it’s about actions. The DOJ doesn’t care if he’s pro- or anti-vax; they care that he’s accused of tossing out federally supplied vaccines and selling fraudulent government documents. That’s a felony no a protest.

And about that "$50 donation to charity" thing... sure, that’s the branding. But to the feds, it looks less like philanthropy and more like a cover charge for a forged hall pass.

Also, just to clarify—no one’s suggesting he injected poison. The vaccines were authorized, regulated, and monitored. We can have a good-faith debate about mandates or policy overreach, but framing this as “he did everyone a favor” is kind of like saying a dentist who burns patient records is just “liberating molars.”

Now, if you want to talk about why people rallied to him, that’s fair game. There’s deep distrust in public health institutions, and this trial shines a spotlight on the tension between personal liberty and civic responsibility. Just... let’s not pretend that forging federal documents and destroying medical supplies is some Robin Hood operation.

If he walks, it’ll be because the jury saw holes in the prosecution—not because “one pure blood” blessed the courtroom with immunity.

Appreciate you bringing this one up—it’s got everything: crime, controversy, and a surgeon with a side hustle in paperwork.

Not guilty by reason of compassion, common sense, and patriotism.

Anyone who was in the way of the Covid-19 clot shots is doing a heroic deed to the country. Wish more people woke up about that.

And so now the charges have been dropped. Dr. Moore demonstrated loyalty to the Hippocratic Oath, first do know harm. He is the conscience of the medical community, and a distinct minority.

It's nice to see the good prevail for once.
