An Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes died two days after being struck by a cricket ball. This is a chilling reminder of dangerous nature of the game. This unfortunate incident will delay India's tour of Australia which was to happen shortly. Many cricketers offered their condolences to Phillip Hughes and his family.

Below is Indian cricketer Viraat Kohli offering his tribute at Hughes's memorial:

They are thinking of banning bouncers which I think is overreaction to the incident. Bouncers is what makes cricket unique.

Banning bouncers following the death of Australia's Phillip Hughes would be unfair on bowlers because batsmen always have the option of ducking under short-pitched deliveries, former India opener Virender Sehwag said on Tuesday.
