Credit card not working when donating to Republicans

Something weird going on when donating to Republicans Trump, and Tom Tiffany through winred. My card has been declined multiple times. After three or four attempts, I give up and use my check card, which works every time. I suspected the bank, (which I won't name right now), of playing politics, so a couple of days ago, I donated five bucks to Kamala Harris as a test. It went through right away with no problem. Is this happening to anybody else?

The CNN article says that both winred and actblue abuse the process with unclear recurring donations checkoffs, and that both are being investigated by several state attorneys general. I will say that the Harris campaign's website and emails are less intrusive than Trump's.

Yes, I agree. The donation upsells and, after that, the offers to buy campaign merchandise are so annoying that I lose patience and just close out the page. The emails are so annoying I immediately unsubscribe after donating. LOL
