Cracker Barrel has now canceled the renovations on 660 of their stores, in addition to canceling their logo change. That is great news for customers everywhere who rejected the changes proposed.

I am waiting for news that the board has fired their CEO.

How many Cracker Barrel restaurants are there all together. The write up says that 660 of them were to be worked on and now they are all being spared. What do the other locations look like now however many there are?

The one close to where I lived changed things up a few months back. Everything seemed brighter in an unpleasant way. Less relaxed. The environment honestly doesn't make me want to go back. Not sure if they will change their decor or not but it would be nice. Would also like to see the buffalo chicken mac and cheese return to the menu as well. That was good.

They have only done a few and the renovations on all others are cancelled. AI says there are 657 restaurants as of July 2025, so one of them is slightly wrong.

We always enjoy 'The Cracker Barrel' because of good food.

I absolutely loved that too! I would beg my wife to go there just for that!

I'll admit to not being to fond of it at first but I quickly figured out to cut the chicken up and push it into the bowl and covering it in the cheese and sauce. After that it was all gold. I enjoyed it. Get a side of dumplings with it and I got a good meal.

And I'm pretty much down for anything buffalo chicken related. Spice doesn't equal flavor though and that's what some of these places don't get. There's a place in my town that does buffalo chicken fries and they load you up too for a decent price. That's good all by itself.

Bob Evans usually does a good job. Right now, our closest one is in Nashville, about an hour away, so we have never been. Back in our previous town, it was more convenient than Cracker Barrel, so we usually split time between the two. We still go to Bob Evans when we visit our daughter and her family back there.
