I was told by two Canadian RNs who were working in the US because they felt the health care system and pay were better, that my heart surgery would be free in Canada, but I would have a 3 month wait instead of the three days that it took. This was 27 years ago, I suspect the wait times are even greater today. Surada boasts of all these wondrous socialist countries but lives here in the US. What does that tell you?
