Looks like the rightwing white christianist party is getting whiplash

A federal appeals court has struck down North Carolina’s voter identification law, holding that it was “passed with racially discriminatory intent.”

The ruling also invalidated limits the same state law placed in 2013 on early voting, same-day registration, out-of-precinct voting, and preregistration.

The court's opinion bluntly described the legislation as a clear effort to suppress the black vote.

"We cannot ignore the record evidence that, because of race, the legislature enacted one of the largest restrictions of the franchise in modern North Carolina history," Motz added.

No ID required to vote by mail.

ID can be made for a few dollars at walgreens and others places.
Apply for a voting card.
Many types of photo ID and a piece of mail to show address.

Local libraries, post offices and community centers can set up a ten minute ID for voters a week or so before voting. Online varification of SSN, address, green card, lack of criminal record, proof of age for young voters. smile for the camera and the card is printed on the spot.

Maybe the township or donations will pay for IDs so people can vote.

Lots of ways to avoid fraud, serve the public and get people to vote, without discrimination.

If not photo, use an electronic thumb print ID to vote.

Even basic laptops can use facial identification software and a camera.

A lap top and basic printer can also be used to print a UPC code and print ballot in any language needed for those who might still have trouble with english.

Even a hot spot and/or smart phone could do most of the same things and a plain printer is a minimal cost to buy, rent or borrow from another office.

Yeah because it's so hard to get an ID....you people need to quit shitting people, you can't function w/o an ID and anyone that claims otherwise is lying out their ass.
